Concord Dragon Boat Challenge Logo

This is your chance to get involved with the only Dragon Boat races in New Hampshire.  A Dragon Boat team consists of 22 people—20 paddlers, a drummer and a helmsman.  Races will be held on Saturday from 9 am to 5pm.  Spend a fun day on the water.  Our event is more fun than competition, but check out this cool video:

Capitol Cup Brewfest LogoThe Rotary Club of Concord is proud to sponsor the Capital Cup Brew Festival. The Fourth Annual Capital Cup Brew Festival will be held on Saturday from 1 pm to 4 pm. Over 20 Craft Breweries will participate in the event, sampling local craft selections as well as hard to find varieties from around the United States. Tickets for the brewfest are available on-line “HERE” and there are two options – A VIP ticket that includes admission to the Brewfest, a $10 food voucher, a souvenir glass and 1 Duck ticket for $30 or just admission to the Brewfest for $20.  Tickets may be purchased at the gate for $25. A beer garden will also be available beginning at 11 am.

Duck Races

This year’s duck race will be bigger than ever! Last year, nearly 6,000 ducks sped down the river toward the finish line. The first ten ducks to enter the duck trap will win cash prizes and the first three winning ducks will win a trophy, too! The ducks will be released at 1:00 on Sunday. Ducks cost $5 each or buy a Quack Pack of 5 ducks for $20. You can buy ducks here or on Saturday and Sunday at the Rotary trailer and other tents until sold out. Learn how your non-profit or youth group can raise money through the duck race here. Don’t miss out on this hilarious event!

Craft Fair

We are expecting a greatly expanded craft fair this year with over 50 crafters displaying everything from wood crafts, photography, glass ware, soaps, jewelry, doll clothes, maple syrup, primitives, bird houses, gourd crafts, homemade pickles/relishes, wrought iron, candles, as well as hands on kids crafts.  Most will be participating on both Saturday and Sunday – come check it out and pick up those early Christmas and Birthday gifts!

Bring the whole family down to the river for a Weekend on the Water. You’ll find food, live music, kids’ activities and much more.

All proceeds from this city-wide event will go into our community’s non-profit organizations and toward improving our city’s parks.
